Ford has unveiled the last exclusive edition of the 2022 Ford GT, referred to as the GT LM Edition, which honor’s Ford’s 2016 Le Mans get and the historic 1-2-3 podium sweep in 1966.
“With impressive materials, structure and engineering, the Ford GT is compared with any other creation supercar,” stated Mark Rushbrook, world director, Ford Performance Motorsports. “As we shut this chapter of the highway-likely Ford GT, the GT LM Version gave us a prospect to inject even much more coronary heart and soul from a podium-ending racecar, furthering the tribute to our 2016 Le Mans acquire.”
Only 20 units will be designed. The LM Edition is painted in Liquid Silver with crimson or blue facts. Purchasers can select either uncovered red or blue tinted carbon fiber on the front splitter, facet sills and doorway sills, engine bay louvers, mirror stalks and rear diffuser. It also receives uncovered gloss carbon fiber 20-inch wheels with crimson or blue interior-barrel accents, in addition titanium lug nuts and black Brembo brake calipers. Last of all the exterior is topped off with a 3D titanium-printed dual-exhaust and GT LM badge.
Inside the carbon fiber seats are wrapped in Alcantara with both a purple or blue driver’s seat and an Ebony passenger seat. Alcantara also wraps the instrument panel, pillars and headliner.
